iRoboterus, originally uploaded by Matthew Watkins. This lumbering beast is based on the visionary wood cut by Albrecht Dürer in 1515. All he had to work with was a written description and a quick sketch from an unknown artist. His Rhino was so convincing that for 300 years it was the commonly accepted version.
